The only way we can communicate with Anna Ward is to send her care packages. So, we went shopping and bought a few things to mail to China. The postman did not even blink when I presented him with a package marked for Gansu Province - Qingyang Social Welfare Institute. Anna Ward should receive it in 5 - 10 days. It included....pjs, one outfit, three toys, soft blanket, candy for the nannies, camera (we hope they will take photos of her life now), and a photo album of the four of us. We hope she gets it and can start to learn our faces and enjoy the gifts. We will send another in a few weeks. It is such a joy to be able to provide something for her...even if it is small. Love you guys.
