Book Store and More...

Today we shopped at a wonderful book store. We got all sorts of cute Chinese baby books and found maps and books on Gansu province. It has been so amazing to watch and participate in everyday Chinese life. We also made another trip to the grocery and spent a lot of time looking at all the odd things to eat and buy. Our cart was full of baby diapers, chips and candy (missing the food from home). The food in the hotel is very good but after two Chinese meals a day...one wants a little peanut butter and chocolate.

Anna Ward had a great day. She slept 11 hours last night and took a two hour nap today. She is bonding so well (thank you for all the prayer) to both of us. The carrier is still a favorite item and she rode in it whole morning and afternoon. She loves to play on the bed with her cups or ball and has the cutest laugh. Our little one is tiny (clothing is a size 9 months and pampers are a size 2). The shoes I brought are huge (size 2) but since she prefers to not use her feet...it is all good. We love you all.

Can't help commenting again and again because the pictures are SO wonderful and give us such a sense of what you are experiencing! It is all so amazing and God given, isn't it? Anna Ward's smile just lights up the screen. So happy the three of you are bonding so well. God bless always, Bets
