AW and JW in hats by the river
my favorite way to travel....
we draw a crowd ...especially with two Chinese babiesWe took a walk by the Yellow River today. Saw a few beautiful statues and many local people taking wedding photos or playing music. The weather was perfect...cool and breezy. Anna Ward rode in style as usual...slept through part of it. Today is also the Autumn Moon Festival ... so we ate Moon Cakes and had a wonderful dinner out.
Anna Ward is coming out of her shell even more. She showed us again that she can crawl but turns her head and hides her eyes after she does...as if to say "i can crawl but you don't need to know that i can". She also loves to stand up holding on to our fingers...she gets much praise and clapping for doing this and the grin she puts on takes up her whole face. We realize more each day how blessed we are to have been chosen to raise this amazing little girl. We miss you all.

I'm curious to know how an authentic moon cake tastes! I saw that in Guangzhou during mid autumn festival that there is a lantern display. I wonder if it will still be up when you get there?
Great pictures! How are the feedings going??? We are all in love with AW. Tell her she's got a big family just waiting to meet her and love on her in person. We had a great sunny day at the beach.
love, the Earles
Looks like a fun day! We're all curious about Carrie and Scott's home in the wake of Hurricane Ike--any word?
