JW and some students from Lanzhou University
the campus
We walked around the campus of Lanzhou University today. It was a beautiful oasis in the midst of the city. As usual, it was nice to get out and move around...hotel life can get a bit dull. Anna Ward showed us many times that she can stand (with support) and loves to do it. This little girl can sleep...11 hours each night and a 2 1/2 hour nap plus some time in the carrier each morning. Homesickness is really starting to kick in. We would covet prayers about this since we are only at the 1/2 way mark for this trip. Cannot wait to be home and be a family of 5. Miss each of you.

Often these little ones are sleeping due to the overwhelming changes occurring. She's also probably doing a lot of growing during those long sleeps! She is finally getting some good nutrition!
Don't be surprised if things change once she's home and settled in. Camille slept 11-12 hours a night and took two 2-3 hour naps each day that we were in China and then for a couple of weeks after we got home. Then she turned into the kid who never sleeps!
We will pray that your homesickness will not be too hard for you all.
You'll be home before you know it!
